The Black Rose Acoustic Society

For over 30 years, The Black Rose Acoustic Society has been the home of live, handmade acoustic music in the Pikes Peak Region. We host twice-monthly concerts, jams, and classes through the year. Nestled in the tall Colorado pines, the down-home atmosphere of our log-cabin concert hall provides a family-oriented setting unsurpassed in friendliness and congeniality.

vOLUNTEER WITH THE BLACK ROSE

The Black Rose is run almost entirely by volunteers. Our organization only exists because of time and energy from folks giving back to our community. If you enjoy our concerts, jams, classes, and other events, won’t you consider helping? You can apply in person at any of our shows or by using the form below.

Here are some current volunteering opportunities. All of our openings require good communication and organization skills and the ability to communicate effectively by electronic means. We use email to coordinate most of our activities:

  • SNack Bar Crew

We could use a few people helping out at the snack bar at our Friday night concerts. Tasks include:

    • Baking goods and bringing them to the concert

    • Preparing the kitchen and setting out all the food and drinks

    • Selling food and drinks during the concert, especially during the busy time of the break

    • Cleaning up the kitchen afterwards

Please fill out the email form below if you are interested in any of these positions.
