The Black Rose Acoustic Society

For over 30 years, The Black Rose Acoustic Society has been the home of live, handmade acoustic music in the Pikes Peak Region. We host twice-monthly concerts, jams, and classes through the year. Nestled in the tall Colorado pines, the down-home atmosphere of our log-cabin concert hall provides a family-oriented setting unsurpassed in friendliness and congeniality.

The Black Rose offers 2 semesters a year of 6-week long group classes that meet for an hour each week. Classes are held either at the downtown Meeker Music store or in instructors’ private studios or homes. Our spring semester generally starts in early April, and the fall one in early October.

Please check back in late August to see what we will be offering this fall. Past classes included instruction on guitar, mandoin, banjo, voice, jamming techniques, improvisation, music theory, and even contra dancing - pretty much anything related to acoustic music, but each semester is different.
