The Black Rose Acoustic Society

For over 30 years, The Black Rose Acoustic Society has been the home of live, handmade acoustic music in the Pikes Peak Region. We host twice-monthly concerts, jams, and classes through the year. Nestled in the tall Colorado pines, the down-home atmosphere of our log-cabin concert hall provides a family-oriented setting unsurpassed in friendliness and congeniality.

Our classes in general meet once each week for 6 weeks on the days and times and at the locations shown below.

Note that:

  • “Treble Makers” meets for 1½ hours for 4 weeks.

  • “Audio for the Stage” meets for 2 hours per session for 3 different sessions at different times and on different days of the week at both Library 21C and the Black Forest Community Center.

Equipment: All students need to bring their own instruments and music stands - contact Meeker Music if you would like to rent an instrument for the duration of the class. Some classes may require additional equipment and instruction books.

Cost: All classes are:

  • $99 for members (member discount code must be entered at checkout)

  • $109 for non-members
