The Black Rose Acoustic Society

For over 30 years, The Black Rose Acoustic Society has been the home of live, handmade acoustic music in the Pikes Peak Region. We host twice-monthly concerts, jams, and classes through the year. Nestled in the tall Colorado pines, the down-home atmosphere of our log-cabin concert hall provides a family-oriented setting unsurpassed in friendliness and congeniality.

Brittany Jean

"With songs about golden sunflower fields and dreams of Ireland to songs about a lonely theater and lavender skies, every song she sings is a love song…”

Singer, songwriter, and storyteller, Brittany Jean is based in the Pacific Northwest, currently living in a little apple town on the Columbia River in Washington. Her music has taken her across the country many times—opening for Three Dog Night’s sold out show in New York City, playing the legendary Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, the Kerrville Folk Festival in Texas, the Ol’ Front Porch Music Festival in North Carolina, The Pearl Theater in Idaho and the Fishstock Series in Wisconsin, appearing on the Virginia Dreams and Inland Sessions television shows, touring Vancouver Island… to name a few adventures! Brittany has released six studio albums and one EP—all recorded at Hilltop Recording Studios in Nashville. (And the next album is underway, set to release in 2025!) Thankful for where music has taken her thus far, Brittany Jean is looking forward to where the road will take her next, new songs yet to be written, fellow wanderers and storytellers to meet, and the adventures to be had along the way… Brittany is so looking forward to her return to The Black Rose Acoustic Society.

Recent Honors: “Call Me North” - Finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest (2023), “Dear Mr. Green” - Finalist in the International Acoustic Music Awards (2024), “Golden Hour” Music Video - Featured on “Country Fix” television show in Nashville (2024).
