They’re back for our Veteran’s Day show! Give a huge welcome to WireWood Station!

What do you get when you put a Classical Violinist (now fiddle player), a couple of Bluegrass Guitarists and a Jazz Bassist in the same room... Award winning WireWood Station! This eclectic group of musicians are the reigning champs of the "Best Acoustic Band in Colorado" at the Rocky Mountain Music Festival as well as winning the "Best Band in Colorado Springs" by the readers of the Gazette for 4 years!

Members of WWS have toured internationally including stages in Europe, South America, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Red Rocks, Branson Theaters to Nashville Studios. WWS has opened for Charlie Daniels, BlackHawk, the Marshall Tucker Band and Dwight Yoakam to name a few.

Colorado Springs-based WireWood Station draws its name from the sound of the Wire of their strings and the Wood of their instruments. This show will be a homecoming for 3 of the band’s members. Michelle Edwards is a former board of directors member and music-school teacher. Both Adam Gardino and Sam Wachtler grew up within the Black Rose music community. Sam managed our music school for many years, and both he and Adam have been instructors many times.

We’re all looking forward to having the band back on our stage after a several-year absence. If you like an energetic, contemporary take on traditional music, you won’t want to miss this show!

Opening acts: Grapefruit Moon (Jane Turnis and Tom Tritsch) and Chris Ryan
