The Black Rose Acoustic Society

For over 30 years, The Black Rose Acoustic Society has been the home of live, handmade acoustic music in the Pikes Peak Region. We host twice-monthly concerts, jams, and classes through the year. Nestled in the tall Colorado pines, the down-home atmosphere of our log-cabin concert hall provides a family-oriented setting unsurpassed in friendliness and congeniality.

Special Event! Jim Bradley Benefit Concert

Jim Bradley is the bass player for the Rifters, a band from New Mexico who has blessed our Black Rose stage many times throughout the years. Jim hit his head in a bad fall in January and had to have emergency surgery in Denver. The Rifters are having a benefit concert in his honor April 8th in Taos, but if you can’t make the long drive and would like to help his cause, the Black Rose is taking donations in his honor and will match all contributions up to a total of $300. Please go to our Donations Page, mention “Jim Bradley Benefit” in the Additional Information Field, and we will make sure your donation makes it to Jim to help cover his medical expenses.
