Or to be more precise, “Jamming on the Deck”.   Back in the early days of the Black Rose Acoustic Society, jams were a common occurrence at open stage events.  We’d like to bring back some of the spirit and fun of that time so this summer we’ll have open jam sessions on the deck in back of the Black Forest Community Center.  Jams start at 5:30 p.m. and end about 15 minutes before the open stage starts at 7:00 p.m. 

All instruments and playing abilities are welcome.  Jams will take place before the open stage events in June, July and August.  The August 8 open stage will take place at the Black Forest Chapel.  If we can accommodate a jam there, we’ll announce it in the next newsletter.  For more information, contact Lee Patterson at 719-495-0733, llpatterson@earthlink.net or myself at 719-548-1743, email: jeff@jcasmith.com.
