The Lyn Akers Scholarship will be awarded by BRAS each year beginning in the year 2001. The Lyn Akers Scholarship recipient will be selected from the pool of applicants applying for the Black Rose Acoustic Society Scholarships. In honor of Lyn, preference may be given to a worthy applicant who wishes to study voice. The applicant may be either a youth or an adult.
