a bluegrass band from Colorado Springs, Colorado. The group has been in
existence (with various personnel) since 1990. We play traditional
and modern bluegrass music with a few tunes tossed in from outside the
bluegrass realm. We also perform original tunes that have been penned
by various members of the band.
Lost Creek features the instrumentation
typical of a traditional bluegrass band: banjo, mandolin, guitar
and upright bass. Occasionally, we'll work the resophonic guitar
into our music as well. Most of our songs feature those tight
three and four part harmony vocal arrangements that tend to identify bluegrass
music.
